One of the great joys I have in creating the radio show and podcast It’s Showtime with Rikki Lee is getting to not only spend time with stars from the upper echelons of entertainment but also to introduce up-and-coming acts to the world.

Super Brick is a great band I discovered that is based out of Rockford, IL a bit north of Chicago towards the Wisconsin border.

Super Brick is a band that combines multiple influences ranging from Memphis blues to jazz to create an alternative rock sound that is taking the greater Chicagoland area by storm.

This phenomenal threesome that is thrilling audiences throughout the Midwest consists of guitarist Kyle Roberts, drummer Gabriel Brown, and singer and bass player Bethany Fichthorn. Together their sound is inventive and addictive.

I recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk with the members of Super Brick about their unique sound and their ability to adapt their set list to fit any crowd. And that conversation is the subject of the latest episode of It’s Showtime with Rikki Lee – airing Friday, September 22, 2023 on 101.5 FM.

If you can’t wait to hear the interview with Bethany, Kyle, and Gabriel, then you are in luck. You can always enjoy current and past episodes of It’s Showtime with Rikki Lee as podcasts on Spotify, iHeartMedia, Google, Apple, and all major apps. And, the Super Brick interview is now available!

In addition to hearing about the band’s diverse influences and their approach to writing new material – you’ll also hear about Super Brick’s upcoming shows and get a sneak peek at their song Happy Ending – which could very well be one of the tracks the band lays down when they enter the studio to record their second album.

If you are as excited as I am to hear new bands on their way up the ladder of success, you’ll love this episode of It’s Showtime with Rikki Lee. I can’t wait to share Super Brick with you all.
